Dependability Matters
Honestly I think that every one should be dependable it's very important. I feel like it is required of you to be dependable in a work place because that's what gets a job done. I feel like we expect our friends and family to be dependable which means we should be. Being dependable means getting the job done. It means you have to work and do what's required of you and do it to the best of your ability.Of the mainthings at work would be to have good attendance and if your boss needs you to stay couple of hours stay this shows you are willing to do something for them. Or when your working and are given an assignment finish it to the best of your ability. I feel as if I'm a very dependable person and a very hard worker and I want the people I involve myself with to be too. I want to know if I can do a favor and get the job done they can to.

i agree i think you have to be a dependable person to do anything especially for a job, friend, or family.
ReplyDeleteI agree that being dependable at work is important. These days it seems like it is more than just the minimum of doing your best and working your full-time position. To be the new type of dependable employers are looking for- it is the going the extra mile that makes you dependable. Like you said working those extra shifts,and coming in like I did today on my day off. I struggle with doing too much at work and then am I dependable in other areas. Am I then there for my son? Am I then able to be dependable to get my homework and projects done> Am I then there emotionally because I feel stressed and can not be the be all person. I think knowing our priorities make us the most dependable for those most important to us. We are dependable in some ways and not in others. It matters only to what is important in our own life. I liked how the professor questioned the difference between dependable and reliable. Some see them as one and the same.
